Dr. Palto Datta received his bachelor’s degree in plasma physics from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in Moscow, an MSc in marketing from Glamorgan University, and a PhD in marketing from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. He is a member of the Royal Society of Arts, Fellow of Advance HE, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, member of Certified Management & Business Educator, and other organisations. Dr. Datta is a senior lecturer and Scholarship lead at the School of Business and Enterprise at Regent College London. Dr. Datta is also the Chief Editor of the Journal of Business and Retail Management Research and the International Journal of Higher Education Management. Author of a number of books, including “We’re Doomed! Brexit Revisited” (2020), “The Art of Entrepreneurship: the Path to Success and Wealth Creation” (2022), and “Relationship Marketing for Enhancing Customer Retention (2018)” Over 27 years of teaching experience in the Further and Higher Education sectors in the UK. Dr. Datta has published extensively in international refereed journals and conferences, and several of his publications have received positive feedback from business and management scholars. In 2019, the US Congress, the New York State Assembly, and the NYC Small Business Service recognised him in the United States for his research contribution.
He regularly contributes various business and higher education articles in prominent English language daily newspapers. Such is the insight that he brings to the specialism areas that he has made several television appearances in the UK, USA and Bangladesh.
